Crowds Enjoy Night Fishing at Hwacheon Sancheoneo Festival

The Hwacheon Sancheoneo Festival, held in Hwacheon County, Gangwon Province, reached its second week on Jan. 17 as many visitors gathered along the Hwacheoncheon stream to enjoy night fishing. The annual winter festival is famous for ice fishing for mountain trout (sancheoneo) and draws tourists for its outdoor activities and local food offerings. Photo provided by Hwacheon County.
