Jinju Railroad Culture Park is hosting a special exhibition titled "Red Breath, Awakening the Dawn," themed around the year of the red horse. The show features 12 artists, including Yun Bong-ja, whose works depict powerful horses running along the river opposite Jinju Fortress (Jinjuseong). The gallery is dominated by red tones and mixed media—painting, calligraphy, and hybrids—that emphasize energy and momentum more than literal animal forms. Visitors can sit on a wooden bench in the center of the room and feel the rhythm of brushstrokes, textures, and sweeping lines. After viewing, the exhibition naturally extends into the park: former railway tracks are now benches and walkways, pampas grass (eulssae) and tree-lined paths invite a slow, contemplative stroll. The combination of artwork and serene winter landscape offers a quiet, restorative experience for the new year, leaving a long, gentle impression rather than a loud statement.
