Jeonnam Province (South Jeolla) announced it will recruit partner travel agencies through June 30 to bring domestic and international group tourists to the region. Up to 35 agencies will be selected, including 10 based in Jeonnam. Partners will develop and run specialty tour products and receive operational support and incentives. For domestic group recruitment (15 agencies), incentives include 350,000 KRW per chartered vehicle for groups of 15+, paid-experience fees, and admission fee subsidies (up to 25,000 KRW per person). For foreign visitor recruitment (20 agencies), support covers guide fees, paid-experience costs, KTX (high-speed train) fares, recruitment incentives, and up to 5 million KRW for promotion and marketing. The province plans themed offerings such as rail tourism linking Mokpo–Boseong, pet-friendly travel (“pet travel”), and park-golf packages targeting seniors. Tourism officials said partner agencies are key collaborators to create distinctive Jeonnam products and bold recruitment strategies.
