This exhibition focuses on East Asian paintings featuring birds, from Korea, China, and Japan. These artworks have been cherished for symbolizing ideals like longevity, wealth, and happiness. Visitors can explore depictions of mythical and real birds such as phoenixes and cranes, each highlighting cultural beliefs across different landscapes like heaven and earth. Additionally, a separate exhibition on Tibetan Buddhist crafts is also being held, showcasing thangka paintings and craft items.
