BTS is launching a massive world tour starting April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, with stops across North America, Europe, South America and Asia — 79 shows in 34 cities, the largest scale in K-pop history. Major international outlets from CNN to Forbes and People highlighted the comeback: Forbes called it one of the group’s most extensive tours and a new benchmark for Korean artists (K-pop) performing stadium-centered runs, while CNN noted BTS’s key role in turning K-pop into a global phenomenon. Argentine paper Clarín framed BTS’s first-ever Argentina stop as a cultural event. The band will release their fifth full-length album on March 20, their first complete-group record in about 3 years and 9 months, featuring 14 tracks reflecting their recent experiences. Global outdoor adverts using the new album logo have appeared in Seoul, New York, Tokyo, London and Paris, amplifying worldwide anticipation.
