KORAIL's integrated travel platform, KORAIL MaaS, which was launched in June, has reached over 5.78 million cumulative uses by the end of last year, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The most popular feature was the real-time train location service, used 5.3 million times. The platform combines services like train ticket booking, directions, rental cars, and airport buses. Additionally, KORAIL has extended its services for foreign tourists by offering multiple language support for rental car, luggage delivery, and tour taxi bookings online. Future plans include a service to pre-order food and beverages via the app to be picked up at stations. The ministry aims to enhance the platform to provide more convenient domestic travel experiences.
