Thai Lion Air began daily scheduled flights between Incheon (ICN) and Don Mueang (DMK), Bangkok on January 14, marking its official entry into the Korean market. The carrier used a Boeing 737-800 and reported a 99% load factor on its inaugural flight. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and welcome-gift event were held at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 with representatives from Thai Lion Air, the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, Incheon Airport Corporation, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand in attendance. Fares include complimentary onboard meals and 20 kg checked baggage, positioning the airline as a budget-friendly option for travelers. Thai Lion Air, part of the Lion Group, operates 13 domestic routes across Thailand and 36 international routes, and has a fleet of 31 aircraft including Boeing 737-900ERs offering 215 seats.
