High1 Resort, operated by Kangwon Land, welcomed a record 7 million visitors last year and is launching a customer appreciation promotion. The resort attributes growth to a renewed wellness center and expanded wellness programs using Baekdudaegan (백두대간, the mountain range backbone of Korea) forest resources. From February, mobile app members will see reward point accrual doubled from 3% to 6%, usable like cash at major facilities. Special lunch coupons for the new Japanese restaurant Rinka and popular La Vista are available in February–March, and preschool children get free entry to Water World until the end of March. A limited “7 million visitors gratitude” two-night package (Feb 19–Feb 28) includes two nights’ hotel stay, two lift tickets, 15% F&B discount, and an Illiyoon lotion gift. Kangwon Land says it will continue expanding distinctive wellness content to strengthen High1’s position as a leading Korean resort destination.
