Former Girls’ Generation member and actress Seohyun will perform as a violin soloist with the Sol Philharmonic Orchestra at its March 13 concert at Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul. She began learning violin about five months ago as a hobby and is described as a 'barini' (바린이: beginner violinist). This is her first public performance; she will play Vittorio Monti’s "Csárdás." The Sol Philharmonic is an ensemble made up of non-professional players and will also perform Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5 and Vivaldi’s "Spring" from The Four Seasons, conducted by Jo Sang-wook. Seohyun said she hopes to show sincere passion over technical perfection and make classical music feel more accessible to audiences.
