New Seasonal Kimchi: Daesang Jongga Launches 'Bomdong Geotjeori'

Daesang's kimchi brand Jongga has released a seasonal fresh kimchi called 'Bomdong Geotjeori' made with in-season bomdong (a Korean leafy cabbage) and Jongga's signature seasoning. Bomdong, a domestic vegetable that stores sugar during winter, has a slightly yellow core, large leaves, a naturally sweet and nutty taste, and a crisp texture. The product highlights 100% Korean-sourced ingredients for all components including red pepper powder and garlic, and is packaged in a PET container for convenience. Currently available on Jongga's Naver brand store, Baedal Minjok B Mart, and G-market, it will roll out to more online channels. The company says the limited-season kimchi can be eaten immediately for fresh flavor or slightly aged for a more savory, refreshing taste, and that Jongga will continue offering seasonal specialty kimchis using its know-how.
