HanaTour's Beijing Visa Center Receives Ministerial Commendation for Inbound Contribution

HanaTour’s Beijing Korea Visa Application Center received a commendation from the Minister of Justice for its contributions to foreign entry and exit administration. The award was presented at the South Korean Embassy in China on the 12th. The center’s manager credited embassy consular staff, HanaTour’s visa center operations team, regional managers, and local staff for the recognition. HanaTour—traditionally focused on outbound travel—has been expanding inbound services and now operates visa centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an and in several countries including Vietnam, the Philippines, and Nepal. The Korea Visa Application Center (a facility designated by the Ministry of Justice that handles visa consultations, document intake, data entry, and passport return on behalf of diplomatic missions, excluding visa decision-making) helps improve administrative professionalism and public trust in Korea’s visa services. HanaTour says it will continue supporting Korea-China ties as a “private diplomat” (민간 외교관) by maintaining tailored local operations.
