Interest in gourmet travel spurred by Netflix’s ‘Black & White Chefs’ has renewed attention on Guam’s luxury hotel The Tsubaki Tower. Since opening in 2020 the hotel has made dining a core focus, collaborating with celebrity chef Choi Hyun-seok during the show’s first season and refining its restaurant offerings. Main buffet Casa Oceano serves local and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with unlimited wine and beer at dinner, earning steady patronage from guests and locals. The hotel has won multiple community-voted honors from Pika’s Best (hosted by the Pacific Daily News), including Best Hotel on Guam for three years; Casa Oceano has been named Best Brunch and Best Buffet for four years, and Milano Grill -La Stella- was recognized as Best Romantic Restaurant. The Tsubaki Tower says it will continue strengthening its distinctive dining identity to offer differentiated culinary experiences to visitors.
