Hyungji Group, a leading Korean fashion company, signed an agreement with the Korea Senior Citizens Association to commercialize and distribute free "senior wearable" robots. The partners will co-develop robots designed to be worn like clothing and share R&D and personnel exchanges. The Senior Citizens Association (대한노인회) will use its nationwide network of branches and 3 million members to connect recipients and promote the program, while Hyungji will handle distribution and training through its roughly 2,000 retail outlets. The collaboration aims to expand new business for eldercare technology and speed adoption across Korea.
