Musinsa held a two-day K-fashion event in Shanghai's Xuhui District, partnering with the local government to invite about 40 Korean brands. Titled "K-Fashion, Connecting Seoul and Shanghai," the program included market analysis sessions at Hengfu Art Center, guided "city walk" visits to major shopping areas like Huaihai Road and Nanjing Road, and tours of Musinsa stores to study offline retail operations. The local government's direct involvement—uncommon for foreign firms—signaled strong trust and support, helping Korean brands better understand neighborhood-level consumer patterns and distribution structures. Participants said Musinsa's local network could lower entry barriers and build long-term growth in China. Musinsa says it will continue close cooperation with Chinese partners to expand K-fashion in the market.
