ZigZag Sees Surge in Fitness and Protein Purchases Among Women in Their 20s–30s for New Year

KakaoStyle’s fashion commerce platform ZigZag reported a sharp rise in self-care purchases by women aged 20–39 during Jan 1–8 compared with Dec 24–31. Sales of sweat sets (‘sweat suits’) rose 122%, protein products jumped 233%, and home workout gear, sports bras, yoga and running items all increased substantially. Search queries for pilates doubled, while searches for sweat suits, chicken breast, health and diet-related keywords rose markedly. Fitness and athleisure brands and protein-focused food brands also posted strong gains. Fast delivery options support quick starts to New Year’s fitness resolutions. ZigZag says it will keep curating products to match customers’ lifestyle and interest shifts.
