European private equity firm CVC Capital is negotiating to acquire additional shares in Yanolja (여기어때), a leading Korean travel and accommodation platform. CVC already owns about 80.87% and is discussing purchases from early minority investors such as Mirae Asset Capital and Korea Investment Partners. The deal follows CVC’s shift to a continuation fund to hold Yanolja long-term, aiming to improve management efficiency and ease eventual returns on investment. Yanolja was valued at about KRW 1.2 trillion in 2022 and current estimates range up to KRW 1.2–1.5 trillion, putting minority stakes at roughly KRW 240–300 billion. The company reported solid 2024 results with KRW 248.7 billion in operating revenue and KRW 47.6 billion in net profit, reflecting stable profitability and growth potential.
