Fashion platform W Concept reports a surge in demand among women in their 20s and 30s for health and home products around the New Year. Sales between Dec 25 and Jan 7 rose sharply year-on-year: athleisure (sportswear and leggings) up 50%, inner-beauty (supplements and diet aids) up 42%, and lifestyle items (kitchen appliances, tableware, lighting) up 120%. The company attributes the trend to customers starting wellness routines and updating home interiors—buying lighting, rugs, towels, and ‘plantterie’ (indoor plant-based decor) as well as kitchenware and cutlery for healthier meals. W Concept is running a “New Year Guide for Life” lifestyle fair through Jan 18, featuring brands like Starbucks, Artemide, Bose, Dyson, Simmons, and Nordic Sleep, and offering up to 12% discount coupons. The platform expects continued demand for health and home goods as people organize their bodies and surroundings for the new year.
