CinnamonLab, a global end-to-end wellness company, has unveiled Nutriball, claimed to be the world’s first snack-form health functional food. Departing from traditional tablets, capsules, and powders, Nutriball is designed to be eaten like a tasty snack while providing 100% of the daily recommended intake under Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety standards in a single packet. Using CinnamonLab’s patented process that puffs organic brown rice with functional ingredients, the product preserves high concentrations of actives while keeping a crunchy texture. The initial lineup targets four functions: improved bowel movement, body fat reduction, children’s height growth, and immune support. The bowel-movement variant addresses past inconveniences of psyllium husk (차전자피) powders and pills that expand with water or stick in the mouth, improving ease of consumption. Packaging features an official collaboration with Walt Disney, using character designs to differentiate products and broaden appeal across age groups. CinnamonLab positions Nutriball as a snack people want to eat—not just a supplement to take—and highlights the product’s contribution to chewing exercise (저작 운동) for digestion and oral health. The four Nutriball variants will be released through major online and offline channels in March.
