The National Jeongdong Theater in Seoul will stage the play 'No Grass Grows on Venus' from January 22–30, co-produced with Hanyang Repertory Company and Hanyang University’s Department of Theater and Film. Set in a world where all adults have disappeared, the story follows protagonist Geumseong as she carries a lone potted plant (hwabun: flowerpot) searching for her mother. Actor Lee So-yi, known for the drama 'Aema' and the play 'Boy x Girl x Baekseo', stars as Geumseong alongside a supporting cast including Pyeon Hae-jun and Shin Yoon-jae. Writer-director Ahn Jun-hwan, who directed the musical 'R;Link', leads the production. The theater’s director said the project aims to give young artists creative experience and growth opportunities.
