Harim, a major Korean food company, is promoting easy-to-prepare chicken products for parents facing the winter break meal grind. Using domestic chicken, the lineup includes: "Cham" (a lower-fat chicken breast ham) with 20g protein and 1.8g fat per 100g ideal for grilling, kimbap, musubi (rice ball) or sandwiches; curry and mala-flavored boneless dishes—"Curry Pongdak" and "Mapo Pongdak"—made with fresh chilled chicken and ready-to-cook sauces that only need water and heating; and "Yonggari Chicken Balls," bite-sized whole-meat chicken balls (shaped like dinosaur eggs) in sweet-salty or soy-garlic sauces, suitable as snacks or bar food and crispable from frozen in an air fryer. Harim says these products aim to reduce parents’ cooking burden while offering kid-friendly flavors and safe, domestic ingredients.
