Ensemble Sum in Wonju Presents 'New Year’s Breath – Return of the Geniuses'

Ensemble Sum, a chamber group based in Wonju, will give a New Year concert titled 'New Year’s Breath – Return of the Geniuses' at Chiak Arts Center on the 18th at 5 PM. The program highlights works by Mozart and Schumann and features soprano Kim Tae-young, violinist Kim Eun-young, oboist Gil Ju-young, pianist Kim Tae-yong, and cellist Kim Seung-se. Selections include Mozart’s sacred piece 'Laudate Dominum' (praise of the Lord), the song 'Violet' (a Mozart art song), Mozart Violin Concerto No.5, an oboe concerto by Mozart, and Schumann’s Fantasiestücke Op.73 and Piano Quartet Op.47, the latter closing the program. Members of the Favori Chamber Orchestra will join the performers for collaborative passages, offering a mix of vocal, wind, and string chamber music.
