The 2026 Ganajimo Cat Fair Winter, a cat-focused expo, runs Jan. 16–18 at COEX D Hall in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Organized by Messe Isang and hosted by the Korea Pet Food Association, the event features over 160 domestic and international brands (e.g., Orijen, Acana) showcasing cat food, treats, litter, toys, cat towers and cat-themed handmade goods and illustrations. Special programming targets cat owners’ intellectual and cultural interests: veterinarian seminars cover nutrition for healthy aging, first aid, play techniques, oral care and toothbrushing; speakers include vets from Royal Canin and major animal medical centers. Hands-on classes for owners and cats include keyring making, dish painting, glass-art lighting, homemade cat food and cat cakes. An art exhibition (‘Myohan Artist Project’) highlights Korean-style paintings inspired by cat paws and expressions, and a “Cat Post Office” lets visitors write messages to cats. Giveaways and special deals are a highlight: five brands will offer first-come free samples of palatability-tested foods and supplements; several brands sell cat litters at free or 1,000 won prices; there will be a lucky draw for high-priced items like automatic litter boxes and cat towers. Details, booth maps and coupons are available through the Ganajimo app (where visitors can download discounts, buy sampling vouchers and enter the lucky draw). The fair is open 10:00–18:00; pre-registration on the app or website through Jan. 15 gives free three-day entry; on-site admission costs 10,000 won per person for high-school-age and older.
