The EuroChamber Orchestra will hold its 3rd regular concert on January 21 at Yeongsan Art Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Founded in 2018 by musicians studying in Germany and Austria, the ensemble aims to bridge artistic achievement and social communication as returning artists establish musical initiatives at home. Conductor Jo Dae-myung (Professor at Sahmyook University) will lead works including Boccherini’s Symphony “La casa del diavolo” (House of the Devil), Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.1, Grieg’s Piano Concerto, Dvořák’s Serenade for Strings, and a new piece “Swaying Flower” by composer Park Yun-min from the orchestra’s creative repertoire. Young pianists Lee Ji-hoon and Park Si-woo appear as soloists. Contact: Classic Korea (010-7759-4451). The Korea Piano Talent-Donation Association presents “2026 Special Concert Series I” on January 24 at the same venue. Founded in 2012 by pianist Kim Moon-jung, the group brings together professional and amateur musicians to donate their talents and serve the community through concerts, camps, competitions and masterclasses. This “Winter Fantasy” program features pianists and vocalists including Kim Su-ji, Kim Jin-woo, Park Ji-hyun and others, performing piano works such as Chopin’s Scherzo No.4 and Ballade No.3, plus songs like Schubert’s “Serenade” and Kim Hyo-geun’s “Snow.” Contact: Korea Piano Talent-Donation Association (010-6234-3373).
