SPC Samlip introduced two new versions of its long-selling Samlip Hotteok (Korean sweet pancakes) combining honey filling with either sweet red bean cream or crunchy soboro (streusel) peanut topping. First sold in 1974 to bring street-style hotteok into homes, the brand refreshed the product to appeal to MZ generation tastes by enhancing texture and flavor. The lineup — Danzpat Cream Honey Hotteok (red bean cream) and Soboro Honey Hotteok (peanut streusel) — is available at major supermarkets, convenience stores, and online. SPC Samlip plans more trend-led hotteok products and has previously done collaborations and TV placements to boost brand recognition.
