Bucheon Art Center Announces 2026 First-Half Program: Sumi Jo 40th Anniversary Concert and More

Bucheon Art Center (BAC) has revealed its first-half 2026 performance lineup. Highlights include soprano Sumi Jo’s 40th debut anniversary concert on May 15, part of the center’s 3rd-anniversary festival featuring lobby concerts (May 15–22) and a free park concert on May 23. A duo recital by violinist Clara Jumi Kang and pianist Kim Sun-wook is set for May 21. In March, Germany’s WDR Cologne Radio Orchestra will tour with conductor Andris Poga and soloists including cellist Daniel Müller-Schott and violinist Kim Seo-hyun. Organist Cameron Carpenter will give a solo recital on April 5, and pianist Park Sang-wook will host three brunch concerts in the small 304-seat hall in February, April, and June. The BAC Jazz Series presents top Korean jazz pianists on select Friday evenings. Tickets for several events go on sale from the 13th, with various discounts available.
