Hyungji Chairman Choi Pledges AI-Driven Transformation of Textile and Apparel Industry

At the Textile Industry Federation’s New Year gathering in Seoul, Choi Byung-oh (Chairman of Hyungji Group) announced plans to use artificial intelligence (AI) to link yarn and fabric production through apparel distribution, aiming to fundamentally reform the textile and apparel value chain. He said the sector is evolving into a key base for advanced industries like defense, energy, automotive and aerospace.
