Binggrae Releases ‘Kkottgerang Mala’ Snack with Addictive Spicy Flavor

Binggrae launched a new flavor of its long-running crab-shaped snack 'Kkottgerang' called 'Kkottgerang Mala.' First introduced in 1986, Kkottgerang is known for its crab shape, crunchy texture, and savory taste. The new variant blends the numbing, spicy 'mala' (a Sichuan-style spice mix characterized by numbing Sichuan pepper and chili heat) flavor with the snack’s signature crispness, offering a different taste experience aimed at consumers in their teens to 30s who enjoy bold spicy flavors. The product will roll out across major retailers and convenience stores starting the second week of January. Binggrae says the launch intends to give long-time fans a fresh experience and expand the brand’s flavor variety.
