Korean media artist Kim A-young has been announced as the winner of the 2023 LG Guggenheim Award. This award, part of the LG Guggenheim Art & Tech Partnership, recognizes artists who innovatively use advanced technologies. Kim is known for her works incorporating AI and VR, and her piece 'Delivery Dancer’ has earned her the prestigious Golden Nica Award. Celebrations for her award will be held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York on May 8, with plans for a public program later this year. Her works are part of collections in prominent museums, including Tate and MoMA.
