The 2026 Ganahtjimo Catfair Winter, a cat-focused expo, runs Jan. 16–18 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. Organized by MesseIsang and hosted by the Korea Pet Food Association, the event features more than 160 brands including Orijen, Rawz, PureVita and Acana, offering cat food, treats, litter, toys, cat towers, and cat-themed artwork. Veterinarian seminars cover feline nutrition for healthy aging, emergency care, proper play, oral disease, and brushing techniques. Hands-on classes include making ceramic keyrings, painting bowls, glass art lights, cat wet-food cooking, and cat cake baking. Attendees can get free samples from multiple pet food brands, enter special promotions, and visit an art exhibition by Jeong Ha-kyung exploring cat motifs. A “Cat Post Office” lets visitors post messages to their pets or cats worldwide. The event program, booth map, coupons, sample exchange tickets and lucky-draw entries are available through the Ganahtjimo app (app). Hours are 10:00–18:00; advance registration via the app or website through Jan. 15 grants free three-day admission, while on-site tickets are 10,000 won for adults (high school and above).
