Gyeongju Arts Center to Stage Musical 'Mamma Mia!'

Gyeongju Arts Center will present the musical Mamma Mia! in four performances over three days from January 30 to February 1. Sponsored by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, the production features 22 ABBA hits such as "Dancing Queen" and reunites top Korean performers who have previously starred in the show, promising high-quality direction and lively performances. Set on a Greek island, the story follows Sophie, her mother Donna, and three possible fathers as it explores love, family, choice and growth with bright music and energetic choreography. Tickets go on sale January 9 via the Gyeongju Cultural Foundation website and Ticketlink; Gyeongju residents, workers and students receive a 50% discount. (ABBA: Swedish pop group)
