Hyungji Advances Wearable Robot Push After Talks with China's CATL and TCL

Fashion Group Hyungji pursued its smart wearable robot business during a South Korea economic delegation visit to China. Chairman Choi Byung-oh met CATL chairman Cheng Yuqun and TCL Technology Group chairman Li Dongseng to discuss collaboration—CATL showed strong interest in battery solutions for wearable robots and offered its factories as robot testbeds, while TCL emphasized AI and robotics integration. Hyungji aims to combine its ergonomic apparel expertise with partner battery and robotics technology to develop senior-focused wearable assistants (시니어 웨어러블) and industrial safety solutions, planning initial roll-out through its 2,000 domestic specialty stores and later via 3,000 global partner channels including China. Choi also attended high-level business forums and a state banquet hosted by President Xi.
