KGC Renovates 'Hwae-rak' Line with New Menopause Patent and Three Upgraded Products

KGC (Korea Ginseng Corporation) has renewed three products in its women's health brand Hwae-rak, launching 'Hwae-rak Jin Total Solution', 'Hwae-rak Bon Circulation Focus', and 'Hwae-rak Hu Vitality Focus'. All three use ginseng recognized for functional benefits by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and have been reformulated to reduce calories for easier consumption. The Jin Total Solution (a renewal of the TurningMe product) adds a patented KGC women’s health complex (KGC여성건강특허조성물) plus deer antler extract, saffron extract, low-molecular collagen peptides, and a triple-berry concentrate. The Hu Vitality Focus (formerly ActiveMe) targets menopause-related energy, joints and muscles with added Artemisia japonica extract (구절초추출물) and magnesium for a triple-function premium formula. The Bon Circulation Focus (formerly OnMe) emphasizes blood circulation using ginseng plus plant ferment concentrates and traditional herbal ingredients such as kudzu bean (덩굴팥), deer antler, yuzu, dried tangerine peel (진피), and mugwort (약쑥). KGC says the renewal builds on 35 years of women’s health research and a new menopause-related patent, and notes Hwae-rak ranked first in brand awareness in a recent Gallup Korea survey of women’s health supplements.
