L'Oréal showcased two new light-based beauty devices at CES 2026: the Light Straight Multi Styler and an LED Face Mask, both winners of CES innovation awards. The Light Straight Multi Styler uses a patented near-infrared technology to reshape internal hydrogen bonds in hair, enabling faster, smoother styling while limiting peak temperature to 320°F (about 160°C) to reduce damage. It follows L'Oréal’s earlier Airlight Pro and is slated for global release in 2027. The ultra-thin, flexible silicone LED Face Mask, co-developed with global LED firm iSmart, combines red light (630 nm) and near-infrared (830 nm) to help improve fine lines, loss of elasticity, and uneven skin tone. L'Oréal says these launches reflect a strategy to combine light technology, AI, and precision science for personalized, longevity-focused beauty solutions.
