Kyochon F&B Chair Urges Back-to-Basics and Unity for a Year of Growth

At a Jan. 6 kickoff ceremony at Kyochon Group’s Pangyo headquarters, Kyochon F&B Chairman Kwon Won-gang delivered a New Year’s address stressing a return to fundamentals and stronger unity among staff and franchisees. He noted rapid changes in the franchise sector and growing global interest in K-food (Korean food), driven by IT and automation, and warned that companies must continually assess themselves, avoid complacency, and keep improving product competitiveness. Reflecting on 35 years of overcoming crises together, Kwon expressed faith in employees’ resilience and called for everyone—head office staff and nationwide franchise families—to unite for a leap forward in 2026.
