Dr.Bloom, operator of global wellness inner-beauty brand HaruMiGam, has established a local subsidiary in Beijing to enter China’s domestic wellness market. The company completed the legal setup in November and will position its K-Herbal (Korean herbal) inner-beauty category—based on recipes from four generations of Korean medicine doctor Han Hyuk-gyu—as a premium offering in China. Unlike short-term cross-border e-commerce (CBEC), the Beijing office will run long-term operations including distribution, marketing, medical-channel partnerships, and local platforms. Planned activities include official brand stores on major Chinese platforms like XiaoHongShu and Douyin, building premium medical and wellness retail networks (plastic surgery, dermatology, wellness clinics), expanding domestic distribution, and collaborating with influential local medical KOLs (key opinion leaders). Dr.Bloom aims to roll out new HaruMiGam products—diet routine and collagen care lines—by mid-year and use the China base as a strategic hub to grow K-Herbal as a global wellness IP, with further expansion planned to Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and the US.
