Gubne Chicken operator ZG Food has turned its branded venue 'Gubne Playtown' into an open collaboration platform for young creators through MOUs with universities like Hongik University. A standout result is Hongik printmaking student Yeonjae Lee’s AI-generated short film 'Wings of Love,' developed as a coursework project, refined with audience feedback and mentoring at the venue’s first 'AI Film Festival,' and later winning Best AI Film at the LA Film Awards and becoming a finalist at the New York International Film Awards. The film emphasizes analog emotion—light, texture and human touch—despite using generative AI, earning praise from international juries. Since 2023, ZG Food has partnered with Hongik, Ewha Womans University and Kookmin University to provide exhibition and performance space, including a free-to-public 'Gubne Gallery' on the fourth floor. The company plans to expand Gubne Playtown as a 'brand open platform' for content experiments, showcases and exhibitions to help more young artists reach global audiences as part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) efforts.
