Hansot Meal Chain Runs January Daily Discounts Up to 27%

Hansot Dosirak, a leading Korean lunchbox (dosirak) franchise, is running its annual “Hansot Daily Discount” promotion from January 1–31. The month-long event, now in its 29th year, offers 15 popular menu items at up to 27% off, with specific dishes discounted on each day of the week—for example, “Jindallae” on Monday–Tuesday, “Donkkaseu Doryeonnim GogiGogi” on Wednesday–Thursday (pork cutlet items), “Kimchi Jeyuk Deopbap” on Friday (kimchi pork rice bowl), “Donkkaseu Curry” and “Double Donkkaseu Doryeonnim” on Saturday, and “Spam Kimchi Fried Rice” and “Double Chili Glutinous Sweet-and-Sour Pork Doryeonnim” on Sunday. In addition, six single-item dishes such as budaejjigae (army stew), chicken, and tornado sausage, plus two beverages including Coca-Cola, are discounted every day. Hansot is also supplying most ingredients to franchise stores at reduced prices during the promotion to help boost franchise revenue in the slow season. The company says the twice-yearly January and August discounts aim to reduce dining costs for customers and support franchisees under its mission to contribute to local communities with warm meals.
