Gigil Co. earns T4- Tech Credit Rating for 'The Ollier S1' ultrasound beauty device

Gigil Co. (CEO Jeon Seon) received an official T4- rating from the national Tech Credit Bureau (TCB) for its “handheld ultrasound-based beauty device manufacturing technology.” The TCB evaluates technology readiness, manufacturability, marketability, and commercialization potential; T4- denotes strong technical competitiveness and good prospects for revenue generation. The certified tech powers the consumer device “The Ollier S1,” launched under subsidiary Beautiful Road’s (아름다운길) home-care brand Ollivia (올리비아). The battery-powered S1 uniquely delivers up to 3W/cm² high-output ultrasound and combines steam and contour ultrasound functions via interchangeable heads, enabling at-home skin-soothing, firming, and volumizing care. SGS verified the device’s output and safety, and Gigil developed its own circuit to ensure stable output and energy efficiency. Smart protection features — including MPS/dMPS and an AI skin detection system (AiSD), plus overheat cut-off and automatic cooling — minimize heat and output loss. CEO Jeon, noted for prior innovations like Korea’s first black box tech and supplying bodycams to the NYPD, collaborated with POSTECH researchers to develop the device circuitry, making this technology a core growth area. The T4- certification recognizes Gigil as a high-level tech company with expanded commercialization and growth opportunities.
