Jechon City in Chungbuk will open a large sledding park at Jechon Airfield on January 10, with a trial run starting January 3 offering free entry. The facility features separate slopes for adults and children; the adult slope is 18 m wide, 150 m long and 10 m high — the tallest and steepest in the central region — offering a near‑sports level experience. Adults must be at least 120 cm tall to use the adult slope; the children’s slope has no height restriction. After the trial period, a sled rental fee of 1,000 won will apply. Food booths will be available near the sledding area. Officials expect many visitors and hope the site brings enjoyment to both residents and tourists.
