Krispy Kreme Korea (operated by Lotte GRS) has released four novelty donuts called ‘Bokbadaranmariya’ (literally “Wishing You Luck”) to celebrate 2026, the Year of the Red Horse. The limited-edition lineup uses horse-themed shapes and flavors to symbolize good fortune and energy for the new year: “Bokbadaranm” features a soft donut filled with dark chocolate cream and decorated with coffee and chocolate icing to resemble a horse’s face; “Sarangharanm” is a heart-shaped donut with mixed berry filling and strawberry icing, styled as a pink horse in profile; “Dalliragup” (horseshoe-shaped) is topped with butter coconut spread, coconut powder and kaya jam for a nutty-sweet taste; and “Carrot Holic” is a carrot cake donut with white icing, milk cream and lotus crumble. The brand highlighted that two flavors—Dalliragup and Carrot Holic—offer tastes not commonly found in donuts. Lotte GRS said the collection aims to bring passion and luck to customers in the new year.
