Chungnam Cultural Tourism Foundation Scores Nine Certifications in 2025

Chungnam Cultural Tourism Foundation achieved a notable run of external recognitions in 2025, securing nine institutional awards and certifications. Key achievements include being named a Chungcheongnam-do exemplary proactive administration agency for a record fourth consecutive year, earning the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family’s family-friendly certification twice in a row, obtaining its first labor-management excellence certification, and receiving a culture and arts sponsorship organization certification from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The foundation also won accolades for human-rights management and tourism promotion, and staff members received 28 individual commendations from domestic and foreign bodies—including honors from the Romanian and Slovakian embassies in Korea, provincial and municipal leaders, and cultural institutions. The foundation attributes these outcomes to field-centered administrative innovation, strengthened cultural sponsorship (후원), expanded international cultural exchanges, and active public–private partnerships. CEO Lee Gi-jin pledged continued efforts to boost cultural sponsorship, tourism activation, and public service innovation in 2026.
