Laneige Becomes Amorepacific’s Overseas Star, Closing in on Sulwhasoo

Laneige, an Amorepacific beauty brand, is emerging as a top revenue driver as it expands strongly in North America and other Western markets. After posting about 73 billion won in sales in fiscal 2025, Laneige is expected to reach roughly 80 billion won in 2026, moving it closer to becoming a '1 trillion won' (Korean won) brand within the group. Around 90% of Laneige’s sales come from overseas, with over 60% of Amorepacific’s U.S. revenue estimated to be from Laneige. The brand’s rapid growth has been led by lip and skincare items—most notably the Lip Sleeping Mask, which sold about 20 million units worldwide last year and became a holiday bestseller at Sephora. Analysts say affordable, mood-lifting lip products and K-beauty’s unique textures and fragrances helped drive global demand during an economic slowdown.
