Full-Term Pregnant Woman Taken to Hospital After Feeling Pain at Sunrise Event in Ulsan

A full-term pregnant woman visiting Ganjeolgot in Ulsan for New Year’s sunrise experienced labor pains amid the crowd and was discovered by traffic police around 6:45 a.m. Officers sheltered her in a patrol car to prevent hypothermia and called 119 (emergency services). About 15 minutes later, she was transported by ambulance to a designated obstetrics clinic safely. Earlier the night before, a woman in her 50s slipped on stairs at a rest area restroom near Ganjeolgot and was found by police special forces; she hit her head but remained conscious and was taken to hospital.
