Musinsa’s 2025 trend report highlights a strong running boom influencing everyday fashion with the rise of ‘runningcore’—wearing running clothes and gear as daily outfits. Musinsa reported an 83% year‑on‑year jump in running shoe sales and noted items once seen as specialized, like sunglasses and running vests, becoming key daily pieces. The report also named eight trend keywords including ‘lightweight padding’, ‘sagging’ (새깅: wearing pants below the waist), and ‘bag decoration’ (백꾸: customizing bags). During the study period Musinsa added 1.64 million new members, surpassing 16 million total members; 83 million items were transacted and searches exceeded 425 million. Musinsa says its large user data lets it quickly spot shifting market trends.
