A Yonsei University student team, "Juchek Bagaji" (a play on words combining alcohol and books), collaborated with Andong’s Hoegok Brewery to release a limited "Confession" set: two 360ml bottles of premium sweet potato makgeolli called "Gobaekju" (confession wine) and an anonymous poetry collection titled "Confession" written by 30 students. The spirit is made from Andong purple sweet potatoes and Baekjinju rice, showing a deep ruby color and sweet, roasted-sweet-potato aroma with a slightly bitter aftertaste. The poems reflect students’ 2025 memories—love, anxiety, regret—making the wine-and-poetry pairing a contemplative experience. The project also aims to address regional revitalization and population decline in rural areas. Purchase details are available on Hoegok Brewery’s official site and Juchek Bagaji’s Instagram.
