Pianist Lim Yunchan donated the entire proceeds (100 million KRW) from his March 23–25 piano recital featuring J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations to the Catholic Medical Center to support pediatric patients. The hospital established a dedicated fund named “J.S. Bach” after the composer of his program, reflecting Lim’s intent to turn artistic expression into social giving. Lim’s agency said this act exemplifies how art can serve the public good, and the collaboration between the medical institution, artists, and cultural industry highlights creating social value over commercial gain.
