Baekje Cultural Foundation Launched in Buyeo to Boost Tourism and Globalize Baekje Heritage

Buyeo County in South Chungcheong Province has launched the Baekje Cultural Foundation, merging the Buyeo Culture & Tourism Promotion Agency and the Baekje History & Culture Research Institute. The new foundation has six departments and 47 staff and will act as an integrated control tower to lead research on Baekje history and culture, promote local tourism, and manage festivals. Officials say the foundation will systematically develop Buyeo’s historical and cultural resources, innovate the tourism industry, and provide high-quality cultural services for residents and visitors.
