Cosmax Group Promotes Second-Generation Leaders in Major Executive Shake-up

Cosmax Group announced a 2026 executive reshuffle promoting owner’s sons Lee Byung-man and Lee Byung-ju to vice chairmen. Lee Byung-man (b.1978) will continue to lead Cosmax’s ODM (original design manufacturing) cosmetics operations, overseeing R&D, production, quality and global client relations, with a focus on helping indie brands go global, premium and functional products, and strategic partnerships. Lee Byung-ju (b.1979) will oversee group mid- to long-term strategy and new businesses such as customized cosmetics, beauty tech and data-driven personalization. Huh Min-ho joined the group and was named senior vice chairman to lead growth strategy and management infrastructure, drawing on retail experience. Cosmax also reorganized HR grades into three global-integrated levels (E1–E3) and appointed 31 executives, including 14 born in the 1980s to inject younger talent. The company said the changes position it to proactively respond to shifts in the global beauty industry and accelerate growth across core ODM, personalization and new platform businesses.
