Seoul — As Korea welcomed a record number of inbound tourists this year, exceeding 18.7 million visitors and surpassing the previous high from 2019 by about 1 million, the aviation and tourism sectors saw strong recovery. On average, one foreign visitor arrived every 1.68 seconds. The report expresses hope that next year will also bring many tourists to Korea, supporting continued prosperity for airlines and travel businesses.
