Korean fashion platforms are accelerating expansion into beauty next year by launching private-label (PB) cosmetics and increasing exports. Musinsa plans more investment to bring its PB brands like Oddtype and WEECHI to additional overseas retailers (e.g., Loft, Guardian, Don Quijote) and will support indie brands with IP collaborations and pop-up stores. W Concept will enlarge its beauty category, host major events like ‘Beauty Festa,’ and focus on home-care devices and high-performance skincare, seeing large year-on-year growth in product counts and sales. Ably will introduce beauty PBs aimed at the Z-generation and strengthen partnerships with new entrants, while Zigzag (operated by KakaoStyle) will boost curated brand selection and incubate indie brands through a dedicated section called ‘Jikjac Only’ (직잭온리). The moves reflect strong fashion-beauty synergy and rising consumer demand for beauty and home-care items.
